When you wake up as a kid one day and realize you want to be a fashion designer, the first couturier you come to love (besides your mother and grandmother who are also prolific sewers) is Lagerfeld. What a beautiful life. What a way to learn to execute a vision with no leaf unturned. What a way to inspire us all. The kidults had too much fun inheriting a bed and crashing Donald Robertson ‘s great art lair. Now I’ve got a headstart furnishing the new LA crib.
