Terminal Lance

Last night was truly such an incredible honor to be the Guest of Honor at the Sunset Parade in DC. In my remarks, I mentioned that this entire DC trip—the parade, the museum, visiting the Pentagon—really felt like a full circle moment for my journey with the Marine Corps and Terminal Lance after all these years. Never could I have expected that an indie underground comic strip that began when I was an active duty Lance Corporal would have brought me here.

SgtMaj Ruiz, his team, the Marines performing in the parade and everyone in between were gracious hosts and I couldn’t have felt more welcome.

Also, SgtMaj Ruiz introduced me officially as the Lance Corporal of the Marine Corps last night, which is a title I’ll absolutely wear with pride.

Had such a fun time at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. What an amazing venue and great audience.
