Keep those pets safe this fourth!

Remember to give your pets a “safe” place to hide tonight.
If you have sedatives, give them early. They work better when given well BEFORE the anxiety starts.
Let them snuggle if they want. Let them hide if they prefer that.
For dogs, take them for a good long walk this afternoon to help get rid of the excess energy and walk off the nerves.
For kitties, try to play get them to play. If they don’t play offer tiny bits of food all over the house for an early dinner to get them moving/exercise to help relieve the energy and anxiety early.
If you have a quieter room with no windows, give them access to that room to help muffle the sounds of the fireworks. Play music in your house.
