Good news! A new law went into effect on July 1 in California that will make it easier to know when our food has gone bad. AB 660 by Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin requires uniform food date labeling. This new law will end consumer confusion, reduce food waste, and ease the environmental impact of so much food ending up in landfills.
