👀 We've been working on building our strategy for 2024 (we believe it's pretty much all we've been doing for the past couple of weeks).
Loads of numbers, charts, and all that jazz.
Most of the figures are what we expected - mobile app downloads are growing, users spend 1/3 of daily waking hours in apps, mobile ad spends are larger than the total economies of Colombia, Finland and New Zealand. 🙌
👇 But here are the top 3 figures from 2023 that really surprised us.
1️⃣ Daily Hours Spent on Mobile Per User DECREASED in USA, South Korea, UK, Indonesia
2️⃣ Social apps: Mature markets are seeing social usage stabilize. In the United States, average MAU was below the levels in 2020.
3️⃣ Retail apps: The leaders of mobile shopping time spent by YoY growth were Brazil (+31%), Australia (+13%), and Mexico (+7%).
