We are loving the surprising April weather! Blankets or fly masks? It changes day to day!!

What is constant are joyous days at Simple Changes farm. Spring therapeutic riding lessons are in full swing, Monday hippotherapy sessions are busy, and our friends from Service Source are back to the barn on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Our Equine Assisted Mental Health and Learning program is hosting individuals and groups from Northern Virginia through the generous grant from Potomac Health Foundation.

Partnership with our horses brings about connection and well-being. We are grateful. Grateful for the horses and grateful for your generous donations.

**Join the Simple Changes Board of Directors**

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities? We are seeking dedicated leaders to join our Board of Directors as we enter an exciting chapter of growth in 2026.

We are looking for strategic thinkers particularly individuals with experience in development, fundraising, and finance, who are ready to help guide our next phase. We are especially committed to welcoming voices that represent the diverse perspectives of individuals with disabilities.

As a Board Member, you will:
* Help set the strategic direction of the organization
* Ensure the financial health and long-term sustainability of our programs
* Actively participate in fundraising and donor engagement
* Serve as an ambassador for our mission throughout the community

Board members commit to a two-year term and participate in monthly virtual meetings. All board members are dedicated partners in raising funds to support the life-changing work of Simple Changes.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families through exceptional equine-assisted programs and strong governance is essential to sustaining that impact.
