Our crew topping out last month on a project in Irving, TX💪

Our crew topped out at the New Braunfels Utilities Headquarters this past week! The 250,000-square-foot facility will include a 142,000-square-foot office building, a 60,000-square-foot warehouse, and 48,000 square feet of equipment and maintenance buildings.

This project will bring many new jobs to the area and is set to open in summer 2027. We’re proud to play a role in bringing it to life—congrats to everyone involved in this project! 👏

Leadership from our Deem Structural Services team came together this past Friday to focus on safety and the ways we can continue to better serve our people and our company. Safety is our top priority at Deem, and we value taking the time to come together for meaningful conversations around it.

We covered key safety topics, recognized supervisors who go above and beyond, and—of course—had some fun along the way. We’re ready to make 2026 our best year yet!👊

Views from last week’s IAH Airport project 🏗️✈️
The DEEM crew built five bridge sections on the ground, with the heaviest weighing in at an incredible 184,000 pounds.

The er****on process left zero room for error—we executed a series of complex heavy lifts using a 400-ton crane, assembled overnight in an extremely tight area to “fly” each section into its final position.

All of this took place directly over an active airport roadway, requiring precise crane and rigging plans and highly coordinated traffic control to ensure total safety and a perfect fit.
