Longview Baseball

Our thoughts are with the entire community, and especially with the family and friends of the victims of the tragedy at Nippon this week. We are also grateful for the first responders, both from the professional firefighters, EMT's, and law enforcement, and to the Nippon employees who jumped into action to help save their co-workers. Incidents such as this remind me of a quote by television host Fred Rogers; "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'" The quote is a testament to the everyday citizens who, despite the danger, jump into action because its the right thing to do.

Just because our regular season has ended, doesn't mean baseball is over for the summer. The crew at Central Sandlot Baseball provide baseball clinics over the summer at Archie Anderson Park.

YOU GUYS!!! Guess what time! Registration is open! Please bring your kids out, play in the sun and learn a few things about baseball! Popsicle rewards after each clinic day!
