REMINDER, tomorrow is another afternoon for a SHELTER SKIP DAY at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center. Temps will be cooler this week with rain moving in and out. Do YOU have a few hours to give?!?

Pup cups, park strolls or lunch on the patio, these field trips make a HUGE difference for LACAC shelter dogs- there a few wonderful candidates willing & waiting!!

Interested in joining in?!? Here's a quick refresher on how LACAC SHELTER SKIP DAY works:

-You can "check out" a dog for the day

-No pre-approval application required

-Outings happen during approved program hours: Tues, Thurs, & Sat from 12-4 PM

-No dog parks. LACAC wants safe, controlled, one on one fun

-Keep them cool, comfortable, and hydrated

-Dogs must return by 4:45 PM

That's it. Simple, fun, and incredibly impactful.

while most may be recovering from the USA's 250th birthday, we're still relishing in the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center's 10th BIRTHDAY Celebration. last weekend, we invited our friends, advocates and supporters to join us for the most beautiful Garden PAW-TY ever held in an animal shelter highlighting all of our progress, purpose and growth in our 1st decade. here's a little peak...

HUGE THANKS to our PAWS Board who spent weeks bringing the garden to life. so much creativity and craftsmanship greeted our guests at every corner. another THANK YOU to our local supporters who donated items for our silent auction- it was AMAZING!!

Longview PAWS, the "right arm" 501c3 partnering with LACAC, was established in 2016 for the purpose of supporting the shelter in fundraising, promotion, recruitment and outreach. we're so proud of what we've accomplished together and what's still to come. stay tuned and stay involved- we can't do what we do without YOU!!

we're a little late in posting but... the QUEEN is STILL HIDING and the JACKPOT KEEPS GROWING!! our QOH Raffle is really HEATING UP...

we drew our 16th weekly drawing Thursday night for our QUEEN of HEARTS RAFFLE: Paws, Claws & Playing Cards at McCann St. Bar & Grill. Teddy H. was our Winner AGAIN. he picked Envelope 29 and turned the 10 of ♦️.

Our 60/40 JACKPOT keeps building- it's now $4282. Keep buying those $1 tickets for your chance to flip the Queen of ❤️. Each week we start the hopper over.
