Ahead of World Blood Donor Day, we're encouraging everyone to donate blood as every drop counts and can save lives. Demand is especially high for O-negative blood. Platelets and other blood products are also needed and are essential for heart surgery patients, dialysis patients, and premature newborns. Since donated blood expires around 41 days, the need for donors never stops, so consider making a difference today!
