In Loving Memory of Darlene Joyce Risley Bradburn
Darlene Joyce Risley Bradburn was born on December 18, 1931, to Ina and Raymond King in Creston, Iowa. As a young girl, her family moved to Washington State, where she later graduated from Kelso High School.
Just after her 17th birthday, in 1948, Darlene married Roger Lawson Risley. Together they built a beautiful family and raised four children: Michael (Cora) Risley, Jerry Risley, Belinda (Michael) Rasmussen.
Darlene was preceded in death by her son Larry Risley in 2024, her first husband Roger in 2005, and her second husband in 2011.
Above all, Darlene was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother. Her faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Longview Community Church, with a reception to follow.
Darlene’s sparkle, elegance, strong faith, and deep love for her family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
