I don’t do 🐴👟 often as I try to keep my clients barefoot if at all possible. Sometimes horses need shoes for pathology reasons or to keep up as performance horses. I’m an EasyCare Inc. Protective Hoofwear Fan and so that’s what I use. I’ve found that some models absorb dye super well while others are more muted tones. For this horse today, this is his second cycle after a lifetime in metal shoes so the angles are still a bit funky. We pulled his hind shoes and so far he’s responding well. I’m always happy to bring new technology of composite glue-ons to my horses. I’m even happier to have colorful pretty shoes!

I hate to break it to you…. But your donkey actually needs their feet trimmed on a schedule. This sweet girl has been on a scheduale every 6 weeks with me for the past 2 years. I get calls almost daily from owners needing their donkeys feet done, but they are feral. For my safety I need the donkeys I trim to be tame meaning: able to be haltered and able to pick up all 4 feet without trying to kick your head off. If they can’t do those things, I’m just not the right farrier for them. I’m also not the right farrier if you only want thier feet done 2-3 times a year. Let’s do better for our long eared friends! 🫏🫏🫏
