Visits from longtime supporters are the best!

Our Director of Donor and Community Engagement, Stacy Cornay, had a wonderful time welcoming Monty Meduna of FNBO Bank to the Early Learning Collaborative yesterday. One of the highlights of the visit was stopping by the office sponsored by FNBO as part of our Capital Campaign.

We're so grateful to Monty and everyone at FNBO for their continued partnership and commitment to improving outcomes for youth in our community. Thank you for making a lasting difference!

We were honored to have a visit from State Senator Katie Wallace on Tuesday! Sen. Wallace, who represents Colorado's 17th District, took a tour of the Early Learning Collaborative with her Aide, Ana Shoemate and also spent time meeting with staff and observing classrooms. We appreciate Sen. Wallace taking time out of her busy schedule to visit our space and learn more about the challenges facing the early childhood education sector--thank you!

Team TLC is really making the most of our new Water Station, sponsored by our friends at Vivant Financial Services! If you've ever lived in Colorado you know that water is everything during these long, hot, dry summer days. Thanks to Vivant for keeping us cool and hydrated!

Hot days and hard truths!

The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County hosted a presentation at the TLC Early Learning Collaborative yesterday, to present data from the Colorado Children's Campaign "Kids Count in Colorado!" 2026 Data Book. This annual report brings together data from a wide set of sources to create a comprehensive picture of how kids are doing in K-12 education, economic security, health, and early childhood. You can learn more about Kids Count! by visiting their website at https://coloradokids.org/kids-count-in-colorado. While the numbers are sobering, we are encouraged to see so many folks stepping up to help improve early childhood outcomes for kids and families in Boulder County and our state at-large.

As a special treat, the Early Childhood Council and TLC also invited Kona Ice to provide snow cones for all attendees and the kids and families of TLC. A perfect treat for a perfectly HOT summer day!
