Lockbox Home employees are insured for your safety and peace of mind. Here’s how it works: our highly skilled, professional and courteous employee(s) will arrive at your home and meet with you. We will walk with you through your home to get an overview of your possessions and to know what you’d like us to video and what you would like to keep private. We will then video document all of your personal items in a quick and efficient manner. We usually plan a two-hour total time at your home. Lockbox Home will then store that documentation for a low annual fee and be back again the next year to do the process again – for subscribing customers, at a discounted price. This will keep your information current and ensure all of your new possessions are captured. Using these videos you’ll be able to reconstruct all of the possessions you owned but are now gone. While you could do this documentation yourself – most people never do. They put it off and never get it done. That is ultimately an expensive and time-consuming mistake – with an inexpensive and easy fix. And almost no one documents their possessions every year to account for the new items they’ve purchased. We are both technologically proficient and old school in our approach: we use sophisticated video equipment but store nothing on the cloud. Not only do we document all you own, we store it safely on two hard drives in two separate locations - instead of storing it in the cloud or on a server where there is always the potential for it to be hacked. We also don’t keep credit card numbers on the cloud or on a server but we do reach out each year to recommend you update your possessions. We can keep it updated each year and the list of replaced items you’ll be able to construct from our videos will be incomparable to what your memory can provide.
