Our affiliation is with the Christian & Missionary Alliance, a worldwide evangelical denomination founded in 1887, with many serving overseas in mission work. In 1987, after meeting at Old Farmers Road School for 10 years, worship began at our present location. On March 18, 2012, we began to worship in our Family Life Center, which includes a library, kitchen, nursery, toddler rooms, and classroom
Following yesterday's time of prayer for healing, Pastor Jeff reminds us of the promise given in Psalm 147:3; "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." It's a reminder that Jesus can heal those deep private inner wounds that we may not feel we can share with others.
In Mark 1 a man suffering with leprosy falls at Jesus' feet saying, "If you are willing, you can make me clean.” Suprisingly, Jesus was indignant at the man's declaration. Today Pastor Jeff reminds us we are to believe not only that our healing is in Jesus' hands, but also that our healing is in Jesus' heart.
