Having been in real estate for over 20 years, concentrating in Lake and Cook Counties, I look forward to helping you and others you know find a new home or real estate investment opportunity, and keep you informed about the local real estate market.

If you told me you were moving to Lake County and deciding between Lake Forest and Lincolnshire, this is what I would tell you.

Lake Forest has it's quaint downtown Market Square with shops, upscale dining, and top-rated schools all close by, it's along the lakeshore & real estate taxes are surprisingly lower than the surrounding areas.

Lincolnshire has a little more breathing room — a smaller community with minimum 1/2 acre properties, highly rated schools, also has beach access if you check out Spring Lake Park, featuring a sandy beach and a picnic site, along with basketball, tennis and baseball courts
still being minutes from everything

There's truly no wrong option, though! Tell me which two neighborhoods you're stuck between and I'll give you my honest take.

The reason most people move has nothing to do with the market.

It has to do with life.

Babies, marriages, job changes, loss, kids going off to college..

If any of these are on your horizon — the happy ones or the hard ones — I've walked clients through every version of it.

Where to watch the fireworks in Lake County this year.

Some of these you've heard of. A couple you probably haven't, and those are the ones worth knowing, because you'll actually find parking.

Save this post so you're not scrambling on the Fourth.

Follow and
to keep up with local events and happenings, too!
