With a wave of newly announced tariffs, consumer confidence is bound to get shaken up. This is especially true among car shoppers.
AutoPacific recently surveyed 2,000 U.S. residents and learned that 75% of respondents who said they plan to purchase a vehicle within the next year will change those plans in some way, whether it be choosing a cheaper vehicle or waiting until things are more stable, if vehicle prices rise.

Car enthusiasts often rail against the size of screens in cars today, but AutoPacific's data from our 2024 Future Vehicle Planner study show that several types of key consumers really do want big screens. A well designed big screen setup (meaning big fonts and clear layouts) can enhance safety because various information and functions can all be displayed at once, negating the need for the driver to constantly have to switch screen views to access different functions - which can be distracting.
