Happy International Grants Professional Day!
Today is a moment to pause and celebrate what my fellow grants professionals do every single day — and the extraordinary collective impact they create. That impact is not just raising money, but what that funding makes possible.
The work of our team at Community Works Consulting has resulted in our clients being better positioned, better funded, and better equipped to change lives. In just the last year, our grant work has supported:
· People living with dementia receiving dignified, supported care
· Children from low-income families accessing dental and orthodontia services
· Abused and neglected children healing through comprehensive mental health care
· Families experiencing homelessness and food insecurity finding stability
· Research and services advancing emerging medical practices
· Incarcerated individuals staying connected with family — reducing recidivism dramatically
· Foster youth finding forever homes and accessing health care
· Communities organizing for environmental justice, housing, and civic engagement
· First-generation college students, returning moms, and underserved youth accessing higher education and good jobs
· Communities gaining access to the arts — museums, musical theater, ballet, and more
That is an impact worth celebrating. We are so proud to work along side each and every one of our team of grants professionals.
To every grants professional out there: We see you! And we honor your hard work. Thank you for the dedication, the care, and the expertise you bring to this work.
Happy Grants Professional Day.

The GCRCC proposal was ranked first of the six teams approved for this inaugural round of funding of just over $8.5 million, and the 45 collaboratives that applied."
We are so excited to have worked with our client, the SELA Collaborative, to support the efforts that made this investment possible! Congratulations to the collaborative members! Such exciting work ahead of you.
