Greetings!
Please join us at Trinity in preparing our hearts, minds, and spirits for the celebration of Christmas. At worship at Trinity, this Sunday, December 22, 10:30 am, we'll light all four candles of the Advent wreath, share hymns and scripture, and a message of Christ's coming led by Pastor Albert Starr. The sanctuary is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Join us and invite others to do so!
Our Christmas Eve worship service will begin at 7:00 p.m. December 24th in our sanctuary. We'll light the Christ candle, share scriptures, message, and song, offer Holy Communion to all who wish, and culminate our worship with candlelight benediction and "Silent Night." Again, come and invite family and friends to come also.
We're especially thankful this season as Pastor Albert Starr has agreed to be our pastor throughout 2025. Rob Ripley has led extensive efforts to get much-needed maintenance completed both internally and externally of our church buildings. Dalerond Smith and Wallace Johnson have worked diligently to decorate and prepare the worship environment.

Hello Everyone a few months ago Our former Church Council President Bob Pedder had fallen and had an accident and has been in the hospital dealing with recovery the last couple of months, but wants to reassure you he’s doing okay and will be back soon, Please keep him in your prayers.

Please join with us in worship of our ever-present God this Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church. 759 Linden Avenue, Long Beach. Pastor Albert Starr will lead our worship this Sunday and the following three Sundays of June. Perhaps he'll share some thoughts of his trip to Ghana, from which he and his wife have just returned. Trinity Choir will provide special music as guided by Choir Director Arline Walter. Holy Communion will be offered to all. We'll sing familiar hymns. We'll pray with gratitude and with requests, naming specific persons for whom prayer has been requested. Bob Pedder, our council/congregation president, is continuing to recover at his home from his recent illness. Sincere thanks to all who are helping to make sure daily activities and operations of Trinity and of the many other groups that use our facilities proceed during the week as usual. Trinity is a busy place throughout the week! May God's will and God's work be done at Trinity, in our community, and in our world.

Sunday, May 12th, is Mother's Day. Join in beginning your celebration of Mother's Day by attending 10:30 am worship services at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Albert Starr will lead us in worship. Tom Krutilek will read the scriptures. Gwen Sliger will share two vocal solos, and Arline Walter will share her talents at the piano. See the beautiful words of a solo Gwen will sing on the final page of the bulletin attached. As a mother loves, so God loves every one of us. That's awesome. Invite family members, your friends, and anyone else who might join us to begin this day.

Easter Sunday, March 31,2024: Join in Easter celebration at Trinity Lutheran Church, 759 Linden Avenue, 10:30 a.m. worship service. Pastor Albert Starr will lead worship; Gwen Sliger, Sande Rice, Dalerond Smith, and Trinity Choir will share special music, and Tina Yanis will read the scripture. Holy Communion will be offered. We'll rejoice and share conversation and light refreshments following the service in the fellowship hall. Easter is real: Christ arose. See you at Trinity!
