It is made up of awesome local women from all walks of life who work hard and compete at the highest level. Rollers debuted at Long Beach Roller Derby's premier bout "Total Domeination" in April of 2010 versus the Terminal Island Tootsies. They are committed to bringing great roller derby to Long Beach. We would like to announce, that we are no longer skating for Long Beach Roller Derby. While some of us will be retiring officially, others will be moving onto surrounding roller derby leagues, and we are sure our paths will cross in the derby universe in the future. After the 2011 season and lack of 2012 season, we no longer agree with the way the league is being run under its current leadership. We have always been told that if we “don't like the league, then we should skate for another", and that is exactly what we intend to do. We wish all the skaters in LBRD the best of luck.
