Partners for Pediatric Vision

🎶Happy Friday! What an unforgettable day of music, discovery, and meaningful connections at our Notes Bring Hope & Touch Tour 2026!✈️

Children and families from Partners for Pediatric Vision enjoyed free ukulele lessons with volunteer musician Mark Fitchett of Fitchett Guitar School, where every child learned the basics of playing and took home a ukulele. A special thanks to the Guitar Center Music Foundation for their generous support!
The adventure continued at the Western Museum of Flight, where children explored aircraft up close, sat in the cockpit of a fighter jet, and experienced aviation and space exploration through touch—creating hands-on learning opportunities designed especially for children with visual impairment.

More than music and museums, this special day was about building confidence, creating friendships, and helping families feel connected and included. As one parent shared:

“This was a beautiful event where we finally felt included.” 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Vistas for Children, Junior Vistas, the Peninsula Chapter of National Charity League, Mark Fitchett, the Western Museum of Flight, the Guitar Center Music Foundation, and our incredible PPV staff and volunteers for making this memorable day possible.
