There’s been a lot of conversation recently about therapy “becoming a luxury.”

Honestly, therapy has been a luxury for a very long time. As a black therapist, I’ve seen the ripple effects on my community and other communities of color. Not being able to afford therapy services is nothing new.

It’s very interesting to see it becoming a larger conversation across socials. My goal is to always have these conversations and make people feel seen.

I love the conversation is happening…. But let’s be REAL…it’s nothing NEW!
