Lithium battery fires are something most riders don’t think about until they see one. The reality is the batteries in EUCs, Onewheels, e-bikes, and e-motos store a lot of energy, and when they fail the fire behaves very differently than a normal fire.

I put together a short article explaining why standard extinguishers aren’t the right tool and what riders should understand about lithium battery fires when they’re charging in a garage or workshop.
