We are excited to share we received a $250 Spark Good local grant from our local Walmart! This grant provided new recess equipment for some very excited kids! After students made recess wish lists, we purchased new balls, soccer nets, rocket launchers, chalk, outdoor kitchen supplies, and a flag football set. Thank you Walmart Derry!

April has been full of learning both inside and outside of the classroom!

From exploring our local library and all of the great resources it has to offer, to visiting the local Air Traffic Control facility and hearing all of the fascinating things a career in the field of aviation has to offer.

Top it off with a visit to the New Hampshire State House where we got to meet the Commissioner of Education and attend a session where the 400 members of the House of Representatives welcomed us with a warm round of applause!

We are ready for warm weather, but we also cherish moments like watching all 3 classes work together to build a giant snowman! Meet Jeff, the newest member of 5 Rock Learning ⛄️

Miss Kara’s class visited INTEGRA_Biosciences in Hudson, NH for an INTEGRA Career Discovery Day! Students toured the facility, learned about pipettes, and heard from team members across multiple departments about what their jobs entail.

What better way to prepare our students for potential careers than giving them the chance to experience it firsthand?

We look forward to exploring even more career opportunities with our students!
