We collaborate with the facility SLP in order to provide maximal results and a least restrictive diet for your patient unlike service at a hospital. Upon the completion of the evaluation we provide a diet recommendation slip and a full digital copy of the test for patient education and treatment planning. 2. "What will happen to my loved one during this test?"
- The Modified Barium Swallow study is a short test in which the client sits comfortably in our mobile imaging suite while taking a few bites and sips of food infused with barium while undergoing a video x-ray.
- The Fiberopric Endoscopic Swallow evaluation is also a short evaluation which requires the insertion of a small camera through the nose in order to observe a patient eat and drink his or her meal.
