OSCA

Siyo! Here is an update on what OSCA has been up to these past few days. Our board members and active members attended the Cherokee Nation Community & Cultural Outreach 2026 Annual Conference at Hard Rock. It was a gathering of community leaders from acrosss the nation and reservation. So grateful, always, for the time to share, learn, and gather resources to bring back to better our own communities through teaching, sharing, and passing on tradition. This year was special for both organizations, Old Saline Cherokee Association and Cherokee Elders Council.
A great big wado goes out to all you volunteers for your time, help, and hard working hands and hearts. What an honor for our two organizations to be recognized, for the Gadugi Award, we are truly thankful and humbled by this. This award is what our two organizations do together for the people of our community. It is an award for everyone! An award for the community! Osda!
Again, wado to volunteers, we couldn't have done it without you! We come together to better our community for our citizens. Our purpose is- Gadugi ᎦᏚᎩ - People coming together as one and working to help one another.
