Balance

It's the yin and yang of it, really
you want deep love—connection
then destruction must exist

light only shines against the vast presence of dark
left without right
would leave us spinning like tops
chasing our insecurities

B a L a N c E

demands wrestling with discomfort
leaning in—squeezing your doubt
until your grit rings out

it means ripping the horns off the bull
before finding peace
blood, sweat and tear
stains and all
