If you use Alexa, Echo, or any other Amazon device (including Ring devices), you have only several days to opt out of an experiment that leaves your personal privacy and security hanging in the balance.
This is their Sidewalk feature. When enabled, it allows your neighbor's Amazon and Ring devices to use YOUR internet without you knowing. This leaves your other devices connected to your wifi exposed to privacy/hacking concerns.
This article explains it very well and the reasons you will probably want it disabled.
