Gun laws and gun violence remain high on people's minds throughout the US including in New Jersey. There isn't often a day goes by when we don't have to consider the impact of guns on our lives, even if we, ourselves, don't own or carry one. The state of New Jersey has some of the country's strictest gun laws, especially regarding what's termed " ." Well, the New Jersey legislature is about to add to that the burden of purchasing concealed carry insurance. In a bill that looks like it will pass, the state will require all persons carrying a concealed weapon to have liability insurance. There will be at least 25 board categories of locations where concealed carrying would be illegal. In addition, to that, the mandate would be a requirement. Additionally, the new bill would require individuals who want to carry a concealed weapon to go through stringent training requirements and would restrict people who carry guns from consuming either alcohol, pot, or other controlled substances.
