A highly competitive founding science and robotics team of Livingston Robotics Club, Livingston, NJ. Team formed in 2007 at 6th grade and retired in 2014 when members graduated from high school. Competitions we participated in:

Robotics Track Instructor Volunteer Opportunity in Colombia (March 12 – 19, 2016)
NJIT Real World Connection (RWC) program is recruiting one (1) student or adult robotics instructor for its pioneer spring break program in Medellin, Colombia. Additional 5 other volunteers will be recruiting from NJIT for Architecture, PC /Network build, Androids App development, Game Development, and Healthcare tracks. Up to 40 local underprivileged students, ages 12 to 18 yrs old, will be attending this program.
Volunteers will be provided with free housing at an apartment located in either El Poblado or Envigado. Local transportation including to and from the airport, as well as some sightseeing opportunities will be provided. Volunteers are responsible for his/her airplane tickets, meals, personal expenses, and legal documents. A performance-based cash award ranges from $300 to $500 will be given at the end of the spring semester.
Applicant requirements:
• Minimum 18 years old;
• Proficient in LEGO Mindstorms NXT/EV3 programming and robot construction;
• FLL/FTC/FRC or other robotics competition experiences would be a plus;
• Fluent in both English and Spanish;
• Teaches robotics from 5 PM to 8 PM for 6 days;
• Provide some English tutoring during the day.
For a highly qualified student instructor who is less than 18 years old but older than 14 years old, parent chaperone will be required. Housing will not be included.
