Check the ratio of active listings against pending listings in your area. If active listings are higher than the pending, that means inventory is growing faster.
Or call/text your realtor and ask!
…there are more price reductions?
Go on redfin. Search for houses in your city. Click on filters and mark “price reduced” “in the last 30 days”. Or call/text your local realtor.
… there are layoff in real estate companies?
A quick google search can provide insight data or call/text your trusted real estate agent.
…mortgage applications are down?
Check on the Mortgage Bankers Association’s website. Or ask your local lender and real estate expert.
