✈️ Europe Travel Update: What You Need to Know 🇪🇺

Big changes are here for travel to Europe—and we’ve got you covered.

As of April 10, 2026, the European Union has launched the new Entry/Exit System (EES) across 29 countries (including Portugal, Spain, France & more).

🔍 What’s new right now:
✔️ No more passport stamps
✔️ Digital entry/exit tracking
✔️ Facial scans & fingerprints at arrival
✔️ Possible longer wait times during rollout

🧾 Coming soon (late 2026): ETIAS Authorization
Before you travel, you’ll also need to:
✔️ Apply online
✔️ Pay a small fee
✔️ Get approval prior to departure

💡 Think of it this way:
ETIAS = permission to travel
EES = check-in when you arrive

✨ Travel Tip:
Plan a little extra time at the airport and make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your return.
