Livermore Community Solar Farm Project

Word has it, that our permit from Alameda county was approved today.

This would very likely kill our solar project.
Under our lease agreement and with the county was that property tax was the wrong place to place tax as the property value is unchanged and actually reduced as the land is changed and not as valued prior to construction involved. The tax should be placed squarely on the company’s providing and selling the power, not the land owner.

If this initiative passes, it would break our terms of lease, and have further repercussions on agriculture and farmers.

I heard that the second EIR is now in. Waiting on the county.
