Moonlit Made

It’s been ages since I’ve made a straight up crystal tray, and this one took longer than most. After I first poured it, it suffered from a bad time I had a few weeks ago with an exothermic reaction. My too hot resin touched the back of this winter cool piece, and cured instantly, leaving a big blob that took me ages to get rid of. This spent about a month outside, getting rained on, while I would grind a little bit of blob away every time I worked on other pieces. But it was finally enough, I domed the back and added crystals this week, and it’s instantly a new favorite.
