Enjoy memories of your mom this Mother’s Day weekend. This beautiful image is from a 35mm slide we recently scanned. We selected it as a Memory of the Month as it captures the essence of Mother’s Day so well. It is an image of Judy Carroll with her daughter Brady. Judy’s other daughter, Blair, tells us this image was taken around 1978 at her grandmother’s house. Her mom, Judy Carroll, had 5 children. Judy’s husband passed away in 1993, leaving Judy to raise the 5 children on her own. Judy passed away suddenly in March of 2017. Blair writes, “She was an incredible mom and just an awesome person. She was a home health nurse, she trained and road horses, she played the drums, and she was just a great person!”
