Just incase no one told you this, mess is often a sign of a thriving childhood!

Our space gets played in more when we have a day *without* TV. I don’t allow iPads in the house.

I do believe screen time to be a tool though. I normally have a movie playing in the afternoon while the baby naps so I can quickly reset. It depends on the weather too.

*there’s obviously a difference between dirty and messy. I always try to minimize the dirt but try to “let it go” when it comes to the mess.

I also understand that I’m super privileged to have three girls around the same age to occupy each other AND live in a safe neighborhood with a front/back yard. It was totally different when our 10 year old was younger!

Thoughts and prayers for our oldest and only boy during this time 😂

But really, I think God knew what he was doing giving us so many girlies back-to-back. If anything, it healed something deep within me 😮‍💨🥹

Also, this may be controversial but I’ve made it my mission to keep them in their girlhood for as long as possible. The fact that the age of imagination, arts/crafts, dolls & barbies is expiring sooner and sooner makes me want to vomit.

I don’t show them too often here, but take my word that they’re the absolute best.
