I was a 29 year old mother of 4 restarting my life after divorce.
I decided to buy a camera
I meet a man named Jim
in a Home Depot parking lot
I paid $200 for a Nikon D70
As always with a prayer on a wing and the dream of starting a photography business

It was hours of website design, conversations with prospective clients on the phone, emails, texts, newborns, seniors, 90th birthday parties, family, reunions, head shots, weddings, babies entering this world, strangers, friends, new friends…

I have slowly been processing the completeness I feel for my professional photography.

After much deep soul searching I have decided to officially close for business on this the 13th anniversary of my opening.

After 13 beautiful years, I’m ready to put my whole heart into my main job at Southglenn Montessori Preschool and also my new passion project
Women’s Roots, a holistic mental and physical health club opening in 2027

I have a wonderful friend Sarah who has assisted me at many weddings for many years and I will happily pass on her info to anyone wanting a referral for a talented, affordable and experienced photographer

After careful and long deliberation, I have decided to cut down on how much time I am dedicating to my photography sessions

As such, I will be moving to a model where I will be offering only ONE photo session each month

My Favorite thing about my photography is staying connected with friends for a lifetime and the deep joy of watching young children grow into adults! So blessed to spend an hour with one of my favorite families around...throw back from CU Boulder Family housing (2004-2006)
