I love researching diets so you don't have to.. this morning I am analyzing the popular FODMAPS diet for 'IBS", here are just a few reasons I don't agree:
1. They say avoid avocados because they are high in fructose. Avocados are one of the lowest fructose foods

2. Avoid honey but consume Aspartame, Acesulfame K and sucralose instead.. I don't even need to comment on this one

3. "Avoid garlic entirely".. unless you are sensitive or allergic Garlic is extremely healthy

Those are just a few of the reasons why doing research and knowing your own body is much better than following a one size fits all "diet"!
