As we continue to celebrate Pride Month, TSF wants to encourage PLWH to fully understand how important it is this year to getting informed and mobilized during this election cycle. Every vote will count and so does every voice!

Nationally we have HIV funding cuts being pursued and policies being introduced to deny healthcare access as well as other programs that could impact our community.

Locally we are stiving to educate legislators on the lack of state allotments for prevention education and the need to address our outdated and not fact-based HIV criminalization statue. All of this will require a more forceful response and people power to energize a movement to make any change.

This August, the Arkansas HIV Planning Group is proposing a statewide convening here in Little Rock. Usually, this event holds space for a PLW caucus type section and would be ideal for such a meet up.

However. prior to that session, The Strilite Foundation would like to support some courageous conversations as to what's happening around the state and in your communities. These sessions can be either virtual or in-person depending on what's agreed too.
