By now, almost everyone has heard of the tragic passing of Aaron Carter. What most may not know is his Arkansas connection when he came to NYPD Pizza. During our opening in May 2005, Aaron was around 17 years old and Lou Pearlman, the boy band mogul, brought him by the restaurant. He was a big Disney star at that time, as well as a major pop star. My son and I enjoyed getting to meet him. He was such a nice young man, and of course, he hammed it up for the camera with us. Thanks for the memories, Aaron.
