The Optimists headed to Mound, Minnesota for this year’s team retreat, and it was packed with meaningful moments from start to finish. The days were filled with team bonding, impactful volunteer work, and productive meetings at our new headquarters, The Bright Spot.
From waking up along Lake Minnetonka at the beautiful Shoreline Hotel to celebrating the ribbon cutting at The Bright Spot, every moment brought the team closer. We volunteered with WeCAN, tested our skills as game show contestants, celebrated one another during team awards, and toured The Hotel Landing before a team dinner at Belle & Grey.
The retreat also featured time with travel industry legend Bonnie Lee and an impactful, in-person DEI session with Seena Hodges. We even squeezed in some local flair with hot dish and pull tabs.
It flew by, but the retreat left us more connected, energized, and excited to bring that energy into our work for clients!
