Check out these pictures from Minersville Area School District 's awesome Strides Against Stigma satellite walk! In May, the Aevidum Club hosted wellness activities to promote positive mental health during Mental Health Awareness Month. We applaud the club's hard work in putting together such an engaging and impactful event for their school community!

"I'm fine" isn't always the end of the conversation.
Sometimes it's an invitation to ask one more question.
Check in. Stay curious. Let people know they don't have to carry everything alone.

We had the best day with these awesome Aevidum students at Lebanon School District, Lebanon PA last week!!
We’re collaborating with Prevent Su***de PA to gather student voice and perspective for some new content for their Online Learning Center.
These brave student leaders shared openly about the views and experiences related to mental health. This content will be used to help educators meet the requirements of Act 71 which requires educators to have 4 hours of su***de prevention education every 5 years. We appreciate the students, advisors, and administrators of Lebanon School District for welcoming us into their school so openly and participating in the project so fully. We especially appreciate Ms. Zentner for coordinating our visit!
We’re still looking for one more school and/or group of students to interview in June. If you or your school are interested, please send us a message for email [email protected]. Stipends are available to support time and travel.

Tomorrow the calendar will change. But people will still be struggling. People will still be healing. People will still need connection, kindness, support, and hope.
Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, but caring for people can’t be seasonal.
So keep checking in. Keep inviting people in. Keep talking openly. Keep showing up. Keep looking closer.
Because the conversations we continue after May are often the ones that matter most.

A smile.
An invitation to sit together.
A text to check in.
A compliment.
A simple “How are you really doing?”
We are all just one kind interaction away from a better day. 💛
Never underestimate the impact you can have on someone simply by showing up with kindness.
