Inspired by her mother's experience with cerebral aneurysms and memory loss, Diane Francis learned early on the importance of patience, compassion, and understanding. Those qualities are at the heart of the work she does each day as Personal Care Activities Director at Luther Acres - A Luthercare Community.

Diane is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that bring residents together, spark laughter, and encourage connection. One of her favorite memories this year was helping residents design their own Easter hats before hosting a fun photo shoot complete with colorful backdrops, props, and plenty of smiles.

For Diane, the most rewarding part of her work is building relationships with residents, learning their stories, and finding new ways to keep them engaged. Seeing residents smile, laugh, and ask, "What are we doing today?" reminds her that she's making a difference.
