For more than 113 years, Northern Seminary has equipped women to answer God's call to ministry. In fact, Northern’s first student, Amy Lee Stockton, enrolled in 1913 and went on to become one of the nation’s leading evangelists. Today, that legacy continues through the many women who have graduated from Northern and are faithfully serving in ministry around the world.
At Northern, we believe God calls and equips both women and men for kingdom service. Throughout Scripture, women played vital roles in God’s redemptive work, using their gifts with courage, faith, and obedience. We are committed to helping women develop their God-given gifts, embrace their calling, and lead with confidence as they advance Christ’s mission in the Church and the world.
Our 2026 Commencement Ceremony was a day filled with celebration, worship, and the joy of God's faithfulness. We are grateful for every graduate who answered God's call and committed themselves to deeper preparation for ministry and service.
