We're proud to share that Pulse Studio had the opportunity to donate our time and creativity to help bring Lisle’s Hokusai Experiential Walk to life—an engaging outdoor installation inspired by the legendary Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai.
This collaboration with the Village of Lisle, Jennifer Rizzo Design Company, and the Lisle Library District was created to connect the community with the Hokusai exhibit at the College of DuPage's Cleve Carney Museum of Art. Together, we designed an immersive path that celebrates Hokusai’s legacy while highlighting his influence and connection to our local area.
One of our favorite elements? The colored lighting woven into the design—transforming the experience after dark into something magical.
We invite you to explore downtown Lisle: enjoy the local restaurants and shops, then take a nighttime stroll down the Hokusai walk to learn, reflect, and be inspired.
