When you get the wind knocked out of your sail, because your mare checked open (twice), and the realization hits that your mare didn’t take, it’s heartbreaking.

So, when you start checking mares in the Spring & feel a head upon palpating…😳

The overwhelming happiness & excitement is almost enough to make you cry. Well, for me anyway.

At that moment, my husband said “This will be our PALMOMINO Stud C**t.” I smirked and said “okay”. Not sure I believed it with every part of my being, but at this point, I’m definitely gonna try to go with it!
Ever since then, we have referred to this foal as “our palomino stud c**t”….what you speak about, you bring about.
