Remember when newspaper used to be printed from a metal plate? I guess those plates got used for signs on barbed wire. Found this out in the woods near the property line.

Hard to believe that’s like 34 years old.

Lots of fungi and toads out this time of year and seems like more than in previous years.

Late evening hikes, all bundled up, are a great way to clear the lungs and get the blood flowing.

I met them while hiking Sunday across the barb wire. They were out looking for a break in the fence after getting a report by Josh on a cow on his property (but the cow had returned by itself.)
