Good morning and Happy 4th of July. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone for their prompt response in supporting a new dirt series scheduled for 2027. Greg and I still have numerous details to finalize before the series can move forward. Currently, Greg is diligently working on restoring his track after years of inactivity. The primary objective of this series is to establish a unique racing event featuring 1:5 and 1:4 scale cars, thereby revitalizing large-scale racing in the Midwest, which has experienced a decline in recent years. To boost interest beyond the 1:4 scale Dirt Nationals, we propose a series consisting of four races, including two-day events at both tracks. Please note that the 1:4 scale Dirt Challenge will operate separately from the new series, resulting in an exciting lineup of racing events next year. Local racing activities, including the 10th racing event at my track, will continue uninterrupted, and Greg will also host his own special races. We will collaborate with QSAC special events to ensure that our schedule does not conflict with theirs. Rules for both scales will be introduced, with the likelihood of adopting V.O.T rules for 1:5 scale and QSAC rules for 1:4 scale. Attendance at both tracks will be necessary, as traveling between the two will be required. One crucial aspect remains - we need a captivating name for this series, and your suggestions are welcome. Year end awards and trophies will be included in our series. Additionally, we are seeking corporate sponsors, so please notify us if you know of any interested parties. We plan to create a dedicated page for the series and will utilize live podcasts, as well as shows like Friday Night Front Stretch and 1:4 Scale Today. Drawing from our past experience with the successful Mid American Modified Tour, we aim to recreate that success, as large-scale racing offers a unique experience that cannot be replicated. Thank you again.
