Due to limited capacity, the Preview Party (which starts at 5 p.m. and includes dinner and early sale access) is reserved for PlantNebraska members only. The Preview Sale, held from 7:00–9:30 pm, is open to the public.

Want to make people happy? Put plants in their hands! That's exactly what we do at Spring Affair, the biggest plant sale in the Great Plains. It's all happening ONE WEEK from today, April 24-26, at the Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln.

Purchase a ticket to the Preview Sale ($20 for Statewide Arboretum members; $25 for non-members) on Thursday evening (April 24) to get the best pick of the plants, or come on Friday, April 25 (2-6 p.m.) or Saturday, April 26 (9 a.m. to 12 noon) for free admission.

We know what you're thinking..."I'm not planning on buying THAT many plants." Famous last words, right? If there's one thing we hear again and again about Spring Affair shopping, it's this: "I wish I'd brought a wagon!" Take it from us: plants get heavy, people!

It takes a village to put on an event that attracts nearly 4,000 people, which is why we need and love our Spring Affair volunteers! Sign-ups are now open to grab your volunteer slot. We need folks to help us set up all the plants on April 24 and help us run the sale on April 25-27. Shifts are typically 3 hours each, and we offer a variety of positions; you can sign up for a maximum of 3 shifts (volunteers need to be 18 or older, please). All volunteers will get a free Spring Affair t-shirt and the chance to shop for plants at the Volunteers Only Sale, which takes place 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 (before the Preview Sale and the General Admission Sales start!).
