We would like to wish Coach Mark, one of our founding members of the Raptors baseball organization, a very happy birthday! Hope your day was great, Coach!

The values Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood for remind us of the game of baseball.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us that real greatness is measured by how we treat others, especially when no one is watching. You don’t have to be famous to make a difference. You make a difference when you choose kindness, fairness, and courage at school, at practice, on the field, and in the in dugout.

On the diamond, we learn to respect one another, encourage teammates, and to keep showing up after a strikeout or a tough loss. These traits demonstrate both leadership and character. These are the the same qualities Dr. King called on to change the world.
